What to look for

Built for strikes and scrambles

MMA and Muay Thai mix punches, kicks, knees and clinch work. A thicker layered guard suits the striking side of the sport.

Retention in the clinch

A custom guard grips your teeth, so it does not get knocked loose when your face is pressed into a shoulder or the mat.

Breathing over long rounds

Less bulk than a stock boil-and-bite means easier breathing when you are tired.

Event rules

Promotions and commissions set their own equipment rules. Check yours before you fight.

Questions

Which guard is best for MMA?

Most MMA and Muay Thai athletes choose the Chaos Guard, our triple-layer build for full-contact striking. If you mostly wrestle and grapple, the slimmer Grapple Guard may suit you better.

Do I need a different guard for Muay Thai and kickboxing?

No. The same striking-focused guard works for MMA, Muay Thai and kickboxing. The Chaos Guard is built for all three.

How long does it take?

Your impression kit ships within 48 hours. Production takes 3–5 business days once your impression reaches our lab (1–2 business days with Express), so a kit order usually takes about 2–3 weeks door to door.
